Colleges for European Data Center Education (CEDCE)

The data center industry is rapidly developing, and therefore FMS has established a partnership with CEDCE to enhance knowledge sharing and information regarding the data center industry in Europe.

CEDCE is an organization that collaborates with educational institutions within the data center sector across Europe. CEDCE issues certifications for data center personnel, which educational institutions can offer training for, helping to form a new generation of data center professionals.

Denmark has become a key hub for data centers in Europe, thanks to its stable political environment, reliable energy supply, and commitment to sustainability. The country offers a unique combination of advantages, including a cool climate, which helps reduce cooling costs for data centers, and an increasing focus on renewable energy sources. Denmark’s strategic location in the heart of Northern Europe also provides excellent connectivity, making it an attractive destination for global tech companies and service providers looking to establish data center operations. As a result, Denmark is seeing significant growth in the sector, with new data center facilities emerging to support the demand for cloud services, digital storage, and high-performance computing across Europe.

This also means a higher demand for data center professionals. At FMS, you can therefore receive certified training in the data center industry, including CDCP and CDFOM. You can read more about these offerings here: https://fms.dk/p/efteruddannelse/certificerede-kurser/datacenterbranchen
